Food was good, service was slow.

The food is good, and the prices are even better. Definitely would recommend a stop if you are in town.

Good and fast. Good for lunch then back to work.

Out camping one of the forest rangers told us about this place.We went twice and everything was perfect.

BBQ is solid and staff is friendly, but 3 times in 2020 alone I've had to turn around and go back to the restaurant because entrees were not present in my bag. They need to come up with a system to ensure that all items are accounted for.

Had a great lunch of all you can eat fish, great food at a great price !!! Great service as well, our waitress was super nice, and I never had an empty glass.

Even though they were very busy it being Father's day the waitress was very attentive to our needs ..kept our beverages filled and food was good and hot..great job girls

This place has decent food. The price is cheap. The chicken and dumplings soup was good. Ribs were all you can eat were good. The jumbo fried shrimp was ok. The sauce was ok. Unfortunately the food I wanted to order wasnt available when I went. I wanted the Ribeye steak. They only serve that on Saturday. This is a place I would try again if I happened to be in the area again.

Great food, large orders and good prices. You will go home stuffed possibly is doggy bag. I will be going back. My ribeye covered my plate and could be cut with my fork. Great!!!!!!

Have only ate here once but it was delicious. I called in a take out order and the food was fresh and tasty. I will definitely return to try other things. Oh, that have crinkle fries so that’s a huge plus for me. I had their pulledPork and it was fabulous.

They should rename it Pop's fish. The breading, fish moisture/ texture was perfect. Mushrooms were also very good. Salad was nice garden with homemade dressing. Wife liked chicken and dumplings. You have to wait on the fish, but I would rather have fresh over under the lights any day. Waitress was not totally attentive, but hey prices were low enough you know they are not getting rich off tips. Gave a nice tip anyway as fish was tops.

I used to love coming to Pops to eat, but this time is going to turn me off to come again for a long time. I went with a friend and when we walked in we couldn't see a clean table to sit at. Okay, that happens so we walked around the corner and found a clean table to sit at. Then we sat for almost twenty minutes without anyone coming to talk to us. After that, we were tired of waiting so we got up and left. Went to Joe's Pizza instead and got served within a minute of sitting down.

I had never been here before. It's like a local favorite hangout in Benton. In my opinion a bit of a greasy spoon. The service was really good. If your looking for a lot of food for a little price it's the place for you. I'm more quality over quantity.

Good food descent service good helpings good bang for the buck

My family joined another family for lunch here and the food was quite good. My son got the bluegill sandwich and it was great. The down side was it took quite a while for the waitress to remember to bring my drink and also some of the food came out about 5 minutes before the rest. This wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have kids with us that were hungry and had to watch others start eating or their food would get cold. The place didn't look so busy that this could not have been better planned. Also there is no changing station in the bathroom.

Not just good fish!! We usually come here on Friday nights for the fish. This time it was Thursday and they had AYCE ribs! All I can say is YUM!!! Not your traditional baby backs but they had a great smoke flavor and plenty of meat. I have a new favorite here!!

It is a local restaurant suitable for family and friends . The food is good and the prices reasonable. This was not my first visit and I will definitely be returning.

I ordered 5 pulled pork BBQ sandwiches for my family. The prices was incredibly cheap for the amount given. Each sandwich had enough pulled pork for two sandwiches.So yes, I used five extra buns I had at home to make 10 sandwiches for 13 dollars (plus two sides of coleslaw.)They give a LOT of meat for the pulled pork. Definitely worth the money!I recommend it!

I love eating here! It is a great "mom and pop" restaurant. Great place to go when you need some home style cooking. My favorite is the patty melt. I'm not much of a fish lover, but my husband always looks forward to getting the all you can eat fish. Also go on a Sunday there are really great specials!

We just left Pops. They have the best fish sandwich. But we drew a HORRIBLE RUDE waitress that just totally forgot about us and then was so smart Alec’s we finally left. Don’t know if we will go back. They need good help

Has such good food at great prices

Not from around there but my boss and I stopped for lunch and we've been to many bbq joints in our travels. I am sorry to say the food was not very good. The pork was dry and old looking, the baked beans were cold and cheap, and the coleslaw was not that great.

Delicious food, friendly staff, & nice clean restaurant. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Service was great & the AYCE fish is GREAT!

My wife & I stopped in at 1:30 PM on July 15 to try pop's bbq. We waited about 10 minutes and neither of the two waitresses working even acknowledged we had come in or were waiting to be served. There were a few people waiting to check out but otherwise weren't that busy. The folks at the table near us had received their drinks and had almost finished them and we heard them remark that "they haven't even taken our order yet". When heard the second waitress announce to the cashier that she was leaving & would be back in a hour, we got up and left. Poor service and poor rating.

They sold out of steaks service was slow and who came up with the idea of putting a burger together with lettuce and tomato under the burger?

Best BBQ I’ve had anywhere in Kentucky, Indiana or Illinois. All you can eat ribs with sides for $11!!!! I’ll be stopping by here every time I pass through.

Very good, had lots of specials to chose from. A little on the busy since it was right after church. The food was good the service was okay.

Good fish, homemade bread, all great.

The pork steak special was really good. The meat was so big I could only eat half. Took the rest home for tomorrow's lunch.
